Birthday Photography Day

As a birthday present from my family, I got to spend a day all by myself. I left the house at 5:30 am, drove to Bunker Road, and hiked up a steep hill to get to this view point. I had picked the spot the day before on Google Maps and I completely underestimated the length of the climb and the total elevation gain I needed to overcome. Also, I had brought 35 pounds worth of equipment, which together made for a very exhausting climb. Was it worth it? Absolutely! I arrived at my chosen destination just in time to witness the fog rolling through the Golden Gate and got to see how it got lit up by the rising sun.
