Little anglers

[singlepic id=54 w= h= float=center]

Another shot from Lake Malawi. I am really impressed and rather¬†saddened by the amount of work some children are doing here, especially girls. For example, we often see little girls carrying bowls or buckets filled to the brim with water on their heads. Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten a good shot of such a girl yet, but I will keep trying. Here you see boys fishing, probably to support their families. I took this shot while waiting for an African fish eagle to come back to its roost and had to wait for quite a while. Watching these little anglers helped me pass the time and these guys were standing at the exact same spot in the rather cold water for at least ¬†an hour. I hope the fish they caught warmed them later.
