Good morning

This morning I drove out to Deer Island to scout for new photo locations. I am interested in interfaces: between land and water, urban and rural, living space and transit space, (people-)space and non-(people-)space, you and me, light and dark, day and night, and probably many more that I haven’t thought about yet.
Shooting sunrises at the coast combines two such interfaces, which seem to make them more fascinating for me. Plus, experiencing the slow transition from dark and cool to light and warm is a nice reward for getting up at 3:30 a.m.
Also, I seem to be a sucker for kitsch, at least this kind of kitsch. sgid: lat: 42.355994 lon: -70.960862
