fitting in

I usually don’t like bullies, but this majestic, ravenous bumble bee matched the flowers of the Canada golden-rod so well that I just had to give it a shot. I am still experimenting a lot with my two lenses to be able to decide more quickly which one to use. The shadows of the surrounding bushes provided quite a challenge for this shot. I didn’t want to go up too much with my ISO setting, but still get a few millimeters of depth of field. Next time I use a more narrow aperture and venture into the higher ISO numbers.
