face to face

On the 25th of June I strolled around Boston Common to try out the 200 mm lens. Boston Common is full of squirrels. I think mostly because it’s the biggest fast-food place around. There are so many left-overs from thousands of people every day, and because squirrels are so cute, hardly any tourist with a sandwich in her hand can resist their charm and would rather starve than see a squirrel eat greasy french fries out of someone else’s trash. And if a guy with a camera comes too close they seem to know exactly how far they have to go up a tree to be out of reach. This one, however, slightly overestimated the height of the branch it chose as hiding place.

I put some more shots of squirrels on flickr.
